PURPOSE: To provide a compact device suitable for being used with a conventional ATM in which the pictures of one face or both faces of a single document can be obtained. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with a document processing module constituted of a first carrying path 370a having a first terminal part which receives a letter document and a single document and a second terminal part which transmits those documents, and a second carrying path 370b which receives and returns the single document with the first carrying path 370a, print means 70 which prints document information on the documents, magnetizing/reading head 90 which applies magnet information to the single document, and reads it, and a picture device 80 which obtains the pictures of one side of the single document. A gate mechanism 410 accompanied with the second terminal part of the first carrying path 370a is operated between a first position at which the letter document and the single document can be transmitted from the module, and a second position at which the single document can be carried between the first carrying path 370a and the second carrying path 370b. |
