The arrangement has at least one selectively switchable micro-mirror arrangement (DMD) in the illumination and/or detection beam path that is used for wavelength selection of dispersively divided illuminating and/or object light, e.g. reflections or fluorescence. At least one selectively switchable micro-mirror arrangement has at least one dispersion element for wavelength selective coupling in of illuminating light towards the object and coupling out of object light towards the detection microscope. An Independent claim is also included for a laser scanning microscope.
