PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system in which security can be improved by preventing a third person from getting on a vehicle, when a door is unlocked.SOLUTION: When an unlock request signal from an electronic key 2 is received via UWB receiving circuits 31a, 31b, an in-vehicle control device 33 collates an ID code included in the unlock request signal with an ID code stored in a memory 33a of the in-vehicle control device 33 by means of a collation section 33b. At the same time, an antenna of earlier reception timing is determined by a determination section 33c. Namely, it is recognized that a user is located closer to the antenna which receives the electronic key 2 earlier. When the collation of the collation section 33b is established, based on a determination result of the determination section 33c, only a door at the side where the user is located is unlocked. Thus, a third person is prevented from getting on a vehicle when the door is unlocked, thereby improving security much more. |
