<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the manufacturing cost of a container for an inflator by forming a gas discharging means of a recessed part, which is recessed from one side to the other side of the inside and the outside surfaces of a container, and a metal film, which is integrally provided with a container so as to cut the communication of the inside with the outside. CONSTITUTION:One side of a container main body 58 of an inflator is formed with a gas discharging hole 62, which discharges the gas when the gas generating agent 52 is ignited by an ignitor 54, so as to be recessed from the outer peripheral surface side, and the deepest part thereof is sealed by a metal film 64, which is integrally provided with the container main body 58. The other side of the container main body 58 is formed with a gas discharging hole 66, which discharges the gas when the inflator meets the fire and the gas generating agent 52 reacts with the heat of the fire and generates the gas, and the deepest part thereof is sealed by a metal film 66 integrated with the container main body 58. The container main body 58 is casted by injection molding using a die made of light alloy, and at the time of casting, the metal films 64, 66 are integrally casted with the container main body 58.</p> |
