摘要 FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction of ring highways around large cities or megapolices such as Moscow and also to method of reconstruction of outer-ring highway of megapolice. In construction of outer-ring highway, total length of highway sections passing across overpasses is equal to 31-34% of total length of highway sections passing through underpasses. Total length of highway sections laid over ground base is larger than total length of highway sections going along overpasses and underpasses by 30-34 times and constitutes 95-97% of total length of highway. Ground base and carriage way over entire length of highway in lateral cross-section are made widened and contain additional sections for straightening of route and/or its ramification into route sections for one way of traffic direction and/or transient sections leading to artificial structures including such as underpasses or separated overpasses. Widened sections are located primarily at both sides of existing ground base and carriage way mainly symmetrically with respect to longitudinal axis of highway with creation of five-lane carriage way in each direction of traffic. Also given in description of invention is composition of asphalt-concrete mix to be used for building of multilayer pavement together with method of reconstruction of outer-ring highway which is realized by applying asphalt-concrete mix of given composition with provision of widening of existing ground base and highway pavement for building of carriage way for five traffic lanes in either direction together with reconstruction and/or erection of new artificial structures included in outer-ring highway. Application of aforesaid invention allows for optimization of design, functional potentialities of outer-ring highway, and also of method for its reconstruction, ensuring reduction of labour and materials cost and operating expenses and also reduction of erection periods due to optimal selection of required number of artificial structures per 1 km
