LAMP HOLDER AND BACKLIGHT ASSEMBLY HAVING THE SAME

A lamp holder and a backlight assembly having the same are provided to prevent separation of a lamp by forming a separation preventing plate in an upper part of a lamp fixing unit. A lamp holder(10) includes a lamp fixing unit(11) where lamps(20) are inserted to be fixed, and at least one separation preventing plate(12) formed in a part where the lamp of the lamp fixing unit is inserted to prevent separation of the lamp. In the lamp, an external electrode(21) is formed in an outer surface of both ends and supplies driving voltage to the lamp.
