An optical disc is provided to prevent the dissolution of dye by the UV ray of sunlight by containing UV protecting material on a coating layer and cover layer. An optical disc comprises: a substrate(15); a reflective layer, recording layer, dielectric layer, cover layer and coating layer on the substrate in order; and a blocking layer on the coating layer. The blocking layer has UV blocking material. The UV blocking material is selected from PABA, ester, cinnamate, benzophenones, salicylate, anthranilate, titanium oxide magnesium oxide, magnesium silic acid, zinc oxidate, ferric oxide or kaolin. |
