PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry out a favorable alignment process irrespective of a mounting position of paper sheets in a paper processing device mounted with paper sheets and carrying out a process to a paper bundle having undergone the alignment process.SOLUTION: A paper processing device has a staple tray 21 for mounting plurally stacked paper sheets; a delivery roller capable of moving in a width direction to displace a width direction of the paper sheets when delivering the paper sheets to the staple tray; rear end reference fences 24, 25 butting and aligning paper conveyance direction rear ends of the mounted paper sheets; and a plurality of return rollers 41a, b abutting on top faces of the paper sheets and conveying the paper sheets so as to butt them on the rear end reference fences. The return rollers can be moved in the paper width direction by conveying member moving means. Conveying member movement control means acquires information of a width direction center position of a paper sheet mounted on a paper mounting face, and it controls the conveying member moving means to match a width direction center point between the return rollers 41a, b to the width direction center position of the paper sheet. |
