PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely determine whether or not a developer remains in a developer storage container, in a developer replenishment device including a movable wall.SOLUTION: A toner replenishment device 300 is a device for replenishing toner to a developing device 20 and includes a toner container 30 including a movable wall 34 inside, a toner sensor 31T arranged in the vicinity of a toner discharge port 319, a motor M for moving the movable wall 34, and a control part 50. The control part 50 includes a determination part 52 for determining the presence or absence of the toner in the toner container 30 on the basis of the output of the toner sensor 31T. A detection piece 40 which can be detected by the toner sensor 31T is mounted on the movable wall 34. When the toner sensor 31T generates previously set output for indicating that the detection piece 40 is detected, the determination part 52 determines that the toner container 30 is in a toner empty state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
