<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overcurrent protective device that interrupts a current to a protected device by detecting an overcurrent reliably when required without making it operate on an overcurrent arising from a transient current, external noises, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: This overcurrent protective device is provided with a temperature detection portion 20 that detects line temperature near lines 14 connecting a power supply 2 and a load 3, a semiconductor switch that is connected between the lines 14 to change over the supply of electric power from the power supply 2 to the load 3, and a control circuit that interrupts the semiconductor switch if the line temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
