<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric current detector of excellent noise-proofness against a noise caused by an external magnetic field, while using a core of comprising an inexpensive magnetic material. <P>SOLUTION: This electric current detector 100 adopts a rectangular annular ferrite core 104. The ferrite core 104 is formed in a position where a core gap 104c and an air gap 108 are adjacent to each other to one long side part 104a, and a Hall element 116 is arranged in the core gap 104c. A magnetic flux hardly passes through the core gap 104c even when exposed to the external magnetic field, since a magnetic resistance is greater in an area in the vicinity of the core gap 104c than that in other area, in a magnetic path formed by the ferrite core 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
