<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide nonaqueous electrolytic solution capable of forming a lithium secondary battery excellent in gas generation suppression at the time of charging, and to provide a lithium secondary battery using it. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolytic solution with electrolyte salt dissolved in a nonaqueous solvent, the lithium secondary battery consists of a nonaqueous electrolytic solution of which the nonaqueous solvent contains a ring carbonate and a chain carbonate, and further, containing 2,5-dihydrofuran of 0.01% by weight to 10% by weight, and a nonaqueous electrolytic solution dissolving electrolyte in an anode, a cathode and a nonaqueous solvent.
