PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the circulated flow to allow the cold air from a cooler to smoothly flow toward a chilled case and a refrigerating chamber located at a lower position. SOLUTION: This direct cooling type refrigerator comprises the cooler 5 provided with a freezing chamber 13 inside and having a cooling face on its circumferential wall, the chilled case 7 mounted at a lower position of the cooler 5 and also used as a dew receiving pan, and the refrigerating chamber 9 mounted at a lower position of the chilled case 8. A cold air circulation passage 31 is formed at both side parts and a rear part of the chilled case 7 to allow the cold air from the cooler to flow down toward the refrigerating chamber 9, and the smooth flow of the cold air toward the lower refrigerating chamber 9 is secured without accumulating the cold air in an area of the chilled case 7.
