A prestressed beam is provided to apply the compressive force of the prestressing steel wire to both the lower flange and the steel wire cover member, thereby enhancing the rigidity by prestressing. A prestressed beam comprises a beam member(10) equipped with upper and lower flanges(12,13) on both ends of a web part(11), a prestressing steel wire(20) which is placed beneath the lower flange of the beam member and applies a compressive force, and a steel wire cover member(30) with a steel wire insertion part(31) which is mounted to the bottom of the lower flange. Concrete or mortar is filled and cured in the steel wire insertion part. The prestressing steel wire is mounted on the lower flange of the beam member after the beam member is set up in a structure so as to prevent lateral buckling of the beam member due to prestressing. |
