摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spacer type composite optical fiber overhead earth wire capable of restricting the rotation ribbon type optical fibers stored in the groove of a spacer and suppressing the distortion of the ribbon type optical fibers. SOLUTION: The bottom of the groove of the spacer for storing ribbon type optical fibers is flat and cushioning materials are arranged on the upper and lower stages of the optical fibers. When it is defined that the depth of the groove of the spacer is D, the thickness of each tape type optical fiber is t, the width of the optical fiber is W, the number of optical fibers is n, the thickness of the upper cushioning material is T1 , and the thickness of the lower cushioning material is T2 , the depth of the groove of the spacer is expressed by D<[(t×m+T1 +T2 )<2> +W<2> ]<1/2> . The pitch of the groove of the spacer is set to 200 to 400 mm.
