PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary duplication processing, when duplicating the image data recording the same content.SOLUTION: A data recorder includes recording control means for reading the image data from a plurality of recording media, and recording the duplication of the image data thus read in the recording means, and discrimination means for discriminating whether or not the image data recorded in the recording media is the data recorded by a function for recording the same image data in the plurality of recording media, respectively, when the image data is generated. When the discrimination means discriminates that it is the data recorded by a function for recording the same image data in the plurality of recording media, respectively, when the image data is generated, the recording control means controls to record the image data, read out from any one recording medium out of the plurality of recording media, in the recording means and not to duplicate the image data read out from other recording media.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
