PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that improves the accuracy of a current sensor by reducing a useless space between a pair of shield plates.SOLUTION: A current sensor 2 measures current flowing through two bus bars 3 and 13 lined in an X direction and extending parallel to a Y direction. A sensor element 4 is placed on a straight line passing through the bus bar 3 in the Z direction such that its magneto-sensitive direction faces the X direction. The bus bar 3 and the sensor 4 are sandwiched between a pair of shield plates 5 and 6 in the Z direction. The bus bar 3 is situated between the sensor element 4 and the lower shield plate 5. The sensor element 4 is situated closer to the upper shield plate than the lower shield plate 5. The thickness of the upper shield plate 6 is more than the thickness of the lower shield plate 5 in a range of overlapping with the sensor element 4 viewed from the Z direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
