PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor provided with an oil seal, capable of recovering the majority of lubricating liquid, and preventing a large volume of the lubricating liquid from flowing to the outside, and improving the effect of self-lubrication, and further, provide a motor provided with a liquid storage tank having an inclined surface of special design, with an increased use efficiency of the lubricating liquid and improved effect of the self-lubrication. SOLUTION: A motor includes a base, a bearing fixed on the base, an oil seal fixed to the base, and a shaft drilling through the oil seal and the bearing in sequence, the oil seal including a rotor that includes a first liquid storage wall positioned at a place corresponding to a recessed portion of the shaft, and a drive portion, positioned between the rotor and the base for driving the rotor.
