PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device configured to reduce input operation load after noticing an error.SOLUTION: An input device includes: a touch screen 10 for inputting information; an editing area 5 for storing a character string being edited; an instruction detection section 21 for detecting that a finger touches a preset area in the touch screen 10; an instruction identification area creating section 22 which creates an instruction identification area 4 in the touch screen 10 in order to identify a deletion instruction by a finger moving direction when the instruction detection section 21 detects a touch of the finger; a direction detection section 23 which detects the finger moving direction after the touch of the finger; and an all-deletion section 24 which deletes an undefined character existing in the editing area when the moving direction detected by the direction detection section 23 is a predetermined direction, and deletes all texts in the editing area when no undefined character exists.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
