PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pump control device of an engine which suppresses the power consumption of an electric control valve, and can control a discharge amount of the oil pump even if low-viscosity oil is used.SOLUTION: A control device of a variable capacity type oil pump 10 which is arranged in an engine comprises: a pump casing 14 which decreases a discharge amount of the oil pump 10 by being oscillated to a decrease side, and increases the discharge amount of the oil pump 10 by being oscillated to an increase side; a decrease-side control pressure chamber 15A which oscillates the pump casing 14 to the decrease side by the action of hydraulic pressure; an increase-side control pressure chamber 15B which oscillates the pump casing 14 to the increase side by the action of the hydraulic pressure; and a linear solenoid valve 20 which adjusts the hydraulic pressure which acts on the decrease-side control pressure chamber 15A and the increase-side control pressure chamber 15B. When current supply is stopped, the linear solenoid valve 20 maintains the pump casing 14 in a position substantially between a maximum oscillation position at the decrease side, and a maximum oscillation position at the increase side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
