PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve reversing work efficiency by providing a reversing device for a trim cover for an arm rest or the like of an automobile seat, which sucks a reversed trim cover in a suction cylinder to be reversed, and then blows air in the trim cover to be expanded. SOLUTION: In the case of reversing a bag-like trim cover 4 formed by sewing many cloth pieces 41, 42, 43 cut to a designated shape in the reversed state to a use form, first, the bag-like trim cover 4 is put on a suction cylinder 1 with an opening thereof down. Secondly, sucking force is applied to the inside of the suction cylinder 1, thereby sucking the top in the inner surface of the bag-like trim cover 4 into the suction cylinder 1, and subsequently the trim cover 4 is reversed and simultaneously accommodated in the suction cylinder 1 by the sucking force applied to the suction cylinder. Subsequently, the reversed trim cover 4 is extracted from the suction cylinder 1, the trim cover 4 is set on an expanding mechanism, and air is blown to the inside of the trim cover 4 to be expanded, whereby the trim cover is made into a use form.
