PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To seal an electrode portion while reducing parts count and the number of work steps and ensuring a sufficient sealing property, and to downsize a compressor. SOLUTION: A compressing mechanism 2, and an electric motor 3 is stored in a container 1, and a current is supplied to the electric motor 3 through the electrode portion 4 connected with inner/outer wiring 5a, 5b while communicating to the inside/outside of the container 1. The electrode portion 4 is surrounded by a surrounding member 31 so as to open at an outer end 31a at an outer position of the container 1 from the electrode portion 4, and then, a sealing material 32 having fluidity is filled into the surrounding member 31 and solidified to seal the electrode portion 4.
