The sensor has a sensor (55) for detecting a position of a regulating armature (3). An electronic component i.e. microcomputer (23), processes a position signal generated by the sensor (55), where the electronic component is connected with the sensor (55). Two energy sources (33, 35) are attached at the sensor, where the energy sources supply electric energy to both the electronic component and the sensor (55) independent of each other. The energy sources are provided with an operating device e.g. personal computer. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement including a pneumatic drive for actuating a regulating armature and a position sensor.
