PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen process for simply controlling the color mixture of a phosphor. SOLUTION: A protruded stripe 38 is protruded on a position corresponding between respective partitions 34 on the back 36 of a plate 20, and when a squeegee 42 is slid on the surface while pressing the back 36 of the process toward the tops of the partitions 34 for the purpose of applying a phosphor paste 40, the protruded strip 38 is fitted into between respective partitions 34. When a screen 24 tendes to widen, side faces 46 of the protruded strip are brought into contact with the side faces 44 of the partitions to suppress the widening and also the displacement of openings 28 in the width direction by the arrangement. The widening of displacement from a central section of the plate 20 to the peripheral edge, therefore, is suppressed and also the color mixture of the phosphor paste 40 is suitably suppressed by the arrangement.
