A print apparatus can bind sheets on corners. The print apparatus prints images on the sheets, performs a binding process on designated corners using any one among a first binding unit which performs the binding process by being displaced to a plurality of positions and a second binding unit which performs the binding process on a fixed single position, reverses the sheets via a return path provided for reversing the sheets, controls permission of execution of the binding process by the first or the second binding unit if the sheets used are sheets of a type permitted to be reversed, and permits execution of the binding process using the first binding unit while prohibiting execution of the binding process by use of a second binding means if the sheets used are sheets of a type prohibited from being reversed. |
