PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission system for a vehicle enabling a driver of the vehicle to drive without any feeling of physical disorder by smoothly placing a clutch with an assist mechanism in a transmission state for driving force.SOLUTION: A power transmission system 100 for a vehicle comprises a clutch 110 comprising an assist mechanism, and an ECU 140 for controlling a clutch actuator 117 driving the clutch 110 into a clutch ON state or clutch OFF state. The assist mechanism comprises a hub-side assist cam part 114b and a pressure-side assist cam part 120 composed of inclined planes sliding on each other. The ECU 140 when placing the clutch 110 in the clutch ON state controls an operation of the clutch actuator 117, and imparts anti-assist force less than assist force to the pressure plate 120 against the assist force.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
