PURPOSE: To improve the performance and prevent accidents by molding molten potassium nitrate glass to have a specified shape and after a tin powder has been jetted in a base body at a high pressure, a specified metal oxide is ejected on the reflection face of the top of the molding to impart various colors. CONSTITUTION: The tip of a bar made of potassium nitrate glass is put in molten potassium nitrate glass contained in a tank and stuck thereto. Then, the adhered molten liquid is pressurized to form a molding formed of a truncated conical body 1 and a reflection spherical body 2, and then, a tin powder is sprayed on the body 1 at a high pressure. Subsequently, a metallic oxide is sprayed on the body 2 to chemically change and bring a required color. As the metallic oxides, silver oxide, lead monoxide, and Nacl.Aucl3 are used for yellow, copper oxide is used for red, and cobalt oxide is used for dark-blue, iron monoxide is used for green, manganese dioxide is used for purple, and feldspar or a fluorite powder is used for cleam color. A part of the spherical body 2 is made transparent or the entire body may be made of a synthetic resin. In this way, light-condensing and reflecting effects can be greatly increased. |
