<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the subject new compound useful as an antitumor agent. CONSTITUTION:A compound expressed by formula I [R<1> is group obtained by removing one carboxyl group at the alpha-position from the C-terminal of a (protected)amino acid, dipeptide or tripeptide; R<2> and R<3> are H, (substituted) lower alkanoyl, group, etc., obtained by removing one OH group of carboxyl group from the (protected)amino acid], e.g. 3-[(t-butoxycarbonyl) aminoethylcarbonyloxymethyl]-5'-O-(t-butyldimethylsilyl)-3'-O-(4-chlor obenzyl)-2'- deoxy-5-fluorouridine. The compound expressed by formula I is obtained by reacting a compound expressed by formula II (R<21> is H, OH-protecting group, etc.) with a carboxylic acid ester compound expressed by the formula X-CH2 OCO-R<11> (R<11> is group obtained by removing one carboxyl group at the ex-position from the C-terminal of the (protected)amino acid, dipeptide or tripeptide; X is reactive residue].</p> |
