A backlight unit and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) module using the same are provided to adjust a distance between a lamp and a diffusion plate according to the distance variance of the lamp, thereby removing the necessity to newly manufacture a cover bottom according to an optimized location of the lamp in a process of developing a new model of an LCD. A lamp(120) includes a lead line(122) of a male screw shape extended form an electrode unit. A cover bottom(114) receives the lamp, and includes a guide groove(130) where the lead line capable of adjusting a distance between the lamp and a panel can move. A fixing unit(150) includes a female screw corresponding to the lead line so as to fix the lead line to the cover bottom. |
