RANDOM ACCESS METHOD FOR ENHANCING CONTENTION RESOLUTION

A random access method for solving the collision is provided to use a temporary identifier until the allocation of a specific identifier in a random access process, thereby offering the transmission of the HARQ(Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request) type efficiently. A terminal selects the RACH(Random Access CHannel) preamble signature and RACH opportunity according to the received system information and transmits the random access preamble to a base station(S610). Thereafter, the base station transmits the random access response to the terminal after receiving the random access preamble successfully(S620). The terminal selects an arbitrary identifier arbitrarily(S630). Thereafter, the terminal transmits the RRC connection request message(S640). The base station extracts the arbitrary identifier by means of the RRC(Radio Resource Control) connection request message(S650). The base station transmits the RRC collision solving message to the terminal after receiving the RRC connection request message successfully(S660).
