PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic part for detecting position in which detection accuracy can be enhanced while simplifying the structure and reducing the size. SOLUTION: An electronic part for detecting position comprises a rod 50 having the forward end abutting against a member to be detected, a slider 70 fixed to the rod 50, a spring means 80 for urging the forward end of the rod 50 to project outward, and upper and lower cases 10, 30 for containing a substrate 90 while projecting the rod 50 outward. The substrate 90 is contained longitudinally in the upper and lower cases 10, 30 which are provided, at the parts abutting against the upper and lower parts of the substrate 90, with parts 25, 39 pressing the substrate 90 when the upper and lower cases 10, 30 are jointed.
