<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide effective and reliable quality control (QC) of chemical products manufactured in a plant which daily prepares specific chemical products of a plurality of batches, and a method for analyzing process variables for providing the quality control. <P>SOLUTION: A quality index is specified by three parameters of a target value (T) of characteristics, an upper value (UZP) of the target value in which the quality index takes a value of zero and a lower value (LZP) of the target value.
