PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a recovery time of a whole system by considering a recovery time of each device where sheets are suspended.SOLUTION: An image forming system includes: a plurality of devices 1, 2 and 3 which share and perform operation necessary for forming an image on a sheet to operation completing processing of the sheet; a cancellation procedure determination unit 109 which determines order of removal of devices from which a user removes jammed sheets when the sheets are jammed in the devices; and a notification unit 200 notifying the user of the order of removal determined by the cancellation procedure determination unit 109. When the jammed sheets are removed, the devices 1, 2 and 3 successively perform recovery operation for the sheets to return to a state before jamming, and the cancellation procedure determination unit 109 puts a device of the shortest required time of recovery operation of the devices where the sheets are jammed last in the order of removal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
