PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer technology for memory data, capable of reducing a memory area for storing a descriptor and suppressing oppression of a memory band along reading of the descriptor.SOLUTION: A memory data processing device reads rectangular data from memory, and includes: a data transfer control device configured to directly perform data transfer with the memory; and a data/address control module configured to read, from the memory, only data corresponding to a trimming area stipulated according to an offset address, a horizontal size and a vertical size in the rectangular data. The data/address control module reads the data of the trimming area through the data transfer control device from the memory, regards an area other than the trimming area as a mask area, does not read data in the mask area from the memory, and generates and outputs dummy data, instead.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
