PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scroll compressor capable of attaining to improve volumetric efficiency and freezing capacity by increasing displacement while assuring cooling characteristic and lubricating characteristic at mechanical parts by intake refrigerant gas.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a scroll compressor in which a pair of fixed scroll 14 and slewing scroll 15 having swirl laps 14B, 15B vertically installed on end plates 14A, 15A are engaged with each other while swirl laps 14B, 15B are being oppositely faced to each other and the slewing scroll 15 is driven to revolve around the fixed scroll 14 to form two suction volumes 16 [16A, 16B], one suction volume 16A formed at a side near a suction port arranged at a housing of the two suction volumes 16 [16A, 16B] is made to be larger than the other suction volume 16B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
