A submunitions launcher (1) for discharging submunitions (4) that produce dummy targets or smoke and have no propellant charge is proposed, comprising a support structure (2) on which at least one rotatably mounted drum magazine (6, 7), a discharging tube (3), a discharging device (5) and a transporting device (15) are arranged. In this case, the longitudinal axes (100, 101, 102) of the discharging tube (3) and the drum magazine (6, 7) are arranged parallel to one another, wherein the drum magazine (6, 7) is located laterally behind the discharging tube (3). The transporting device (15) comprises a conveyor belt (16), which is movable in the direction of the longitudinal axis (101, 102) of the drum magazine (6, 7), and a submunitions conveying device (17), which is movable perpendicularly to the direction of movement of the conveyor belt (16) in the direction of the discharging tube (3), and so, to transport a submunition (4) from the drum magazine (6, 7) into its discharging position, first the submunition (4) can be removed from the magazine in a removal position, then it can be transported axially by the conveyor belt (16), subsequently it can be transferred to the submunitions conveying device (17) and then it can be fed to the discharging tube (3). |
