<p>PURPOSE: To improve a fermentation composting capacity by charging fermenta tion composting materials into a fermentation composting vat by means of first and second charging conveyors. CONSTITUTION: The fermentation composting materials X are charged into the fermenting vat 1 by mean of the first charging conveyor 44 and the second charging conveyor 45. Next, an agitating and turning conveyor 17 and a discharging conveyor 46 are operated and the conveyor 17 is lowered by a winch device 31 to incline the bottom end of the conveyor 17 until the bottom end approaches the base of the fermenting vat 1. A motor 6 for driving a truck is then operated to advance the traveling truck 4 and to simultaneously discharge the compost raked up by the conveyor 17 onto the discharging conveyor 45 so that the compost is charged again into the fermenting vat 1 through the conveyors 44, 45. The treating materials X in the fermenting vat 1 are crushed by the pawls of the conveyor 17 and are raked up and moved upward by raking vanes 27 when the truck 4 is moved to the terminal and of the fermenting vat 1, then, the compost falls backward of the conveyor 17, by which sufficient air is incorporated into the treating materials X.</p> |
