An embodiment of the present invention relates to a rechargeable battery module capable of securing a high current external short by internal heat generated in a low current region where a cell fuse is not operated (disconnected). A rechargeable battery module according to the present invention includes the following: unit cells which form a rechargeable battery consisting of a first electrode terminal and a second electrode terminal and are adjacent to each other; a bus bar which connects the unit cells; a first module terminal which is connected to the first electrode of one unit cell among the unit cells; a second module terminal which is connected to the second electrode terminal of another unit cell among the unit cells; and a module short member which is electrically connected to either the first module terminal or second module terminal, is electrically separated from the other module terminal, and is electrically short-circuited from the other module terminal according to temperature. |
