PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of heating both upper and lower sides of a heated object uniformly with little time and effort without using an auxiliary implement such as a gridiron. SOLUTION: When a tray 4 is locked to locking parts 3 provided at both right and left side faces of a heating chamber 20 of the heating cooker, through-holes 4f formed at sidewall parts 4b of the tray face steam blowoff ports 22 provided at both right and left sides of the heating chamber 20. The steam blowoff ports 22 extend long and narrowly in a longitudinal direction in both right and left side faces of the heating chamber to jet superheated steam only from the partial regions of the side faces. Part of the superheated steam supplied from the steam blowoff ports 22 is supplied to the lower side of the tray 4 through the through-holes 4f of the tray, and the other part of the superheated steam is supplied to the upper side of the tray 4. The heating cooker is preferably provided with a passage for allowing the superheated steam flowing to the lower side of the tray, to flow to the upper side of the tray. Both upper and lower sides of the heated object placed on the tray 4 are heated by the superheated steam supplied to both upper and lower sides of the tray 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
