PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce loads upon a system and to perform efficient automatic backup by restricting objects to be backed up. SOLUTION: Using a hard disk device or the like, a first storage part 40 and a second storage part 70 are prepared. When a system is activated, an OS program and an application program A are expanded on a memory 20 by an expansion storage part 30 comprising a device driver and are executed by a program execution part 10. An application to be backed up is registered in an application registration part 50 in advance. A backup management part 60 monitors operation of the expansion storage part 30 and performs backup processing to store specific data in the second storage part 70 as well only when processing to save the specific data in the memory 20 in the first storage part 40 is executed on the basis of a storage instruction by the registered application.
