The transmitter unit ÄSENÜ is arranged to handle frequency multiplexed signals, such as cable television signals. The input amplifier ÄAMP 1Ü has a compensating unit ÄVORÜ that provides a multiplexed signal with different transmission levels. Preferably the compensated signals are amplified by a second amplifier ÄAMP2Ü, which feed a direct modulated laser ÄLASÜ which converts the electrical signals into optical signals for transmission over an optical fibre cable. Preferably the compensation network includes an arrangement with an inductively wound coil (L), combined with a parallel capacitance (C). |
