PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone which selects functions for "Determine" or "Cancel" with a push motion of one key by means of a two-step switch. SOLUTION: When pushing down the two-step switch, a first-step switch stopper 4 and a detecting section 6 come in contact with each other. Then, when stopped pushing the switch (release the switch), the two-step switch returns to an original position, a system control section 16 executes "Determine" processing. When the two-step switch is further pushed down from the state that is already pushed down to the first step and the detecting section 6 detects that it comes into contact with a second-step switch stopper 5, the system control section 16 executes "Cancel" processing.
