<p>The present invention relates to a drill press for cutting a workpiece comprising a base, an upper case body and a main rotary shaft member extending downwardly from the upper case body and terminating in a rotary cutting tool. A protective guard is adapted to intercept debris ejected from the workpiece towards the operator during operation of the rotary cutting tool. The protective guard includes a fixed base mounted on the bushing, a laser alignment device arranged on the fixed base and at least a part of a power supply device for the laser alignment device arranged on the fixed base.</p> |
