摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase reproduction optical amplification apparatus that can amplify phase sensitivity of multi-value phase modulation and allow a smaller size, lower noise, and a simpler configuration than the conventional art.SOLUTION: An optical amplification apparatus comprises: a first secondary nonlinear optical element that generates a second harmonic from amplified signal light and first excitation light, and satisfies pseudo-phase matching at a plurality of wavelengths; a demultiplexer that outputs idler light of frequency Mω-(M-1)ωfrom one output port, and outputs idler light of frequency (M-1)ω-(M-2)ωand the signal light from the other output port, of outputs of the first secondary nonlinear optical element; an optical circulator that injects one output of the demultiplexer in a laser beam to be synchronized to output second excitation light; a second secondary nonlinear optical element that generates sum frequency light from the amplified first and second excitation light; and a third secondary nonlinear optical element that receives the other output of the demultiplexer and the sum frequency light to perform non-degeneracy parametric amplification.
