PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic member including a conductive elastic layer having high thermal insulation property and excellent dimensional stability.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic member includes an elastic layer; and the elastic layer has a plurality of voids derived from resin microballoons which are connected and open to each other, and contains an ion conducting agent. A heat fixing assembly is provided, including heating means and a pressurizing member disposed to oppose to the heating means, in which a recording material carrying an unfixed toner image on the surface thereof is introduced into between the heating means and the pressurizing member so as to fix the toner image to the recording material. The pressurizing member is the above electrophotographic member. |
