PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a storage container to be drawn out following a door opening operation, and to make the storage container attached and detached freely, in a cooling chamber of a refrigerator opened and closed by a turning type door, and arranged with the drawing-out type storage container in its inside. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator, a door side engaging member 38 projected rearward from a door backface to be engaged with a front side of an ice making vessel 24 is provided in the turning type door 26 for opening and closing a front face of an ice making chamber 12, an engaging protrusion 46 is provided in a rear part thereof, an engaging recess 50 inserted removably with the engaging protrusion 46 is provided in an inside of a frame 52 formed projectedly downwards from a bottom face of the ice making vessel 24, in a front side of the ice making vessel 24, a rib 54 having a shape inclined to be raised up gradually from the bottom face of the ice making vessel 24 toward an under side of the frame 52 is provided in a front side of the frame 52, the engaging protrusion 46 is engaged with the engaging recess 50 in accompaniment to the door opening and closing operation for the door 26, under the condition where the engagement of the engaging protrusion 46 with the engaging recess 50 is released, and the ice making vessel 24 is slid longitudinally by the engagement, in accompaniment to the door opening and closing operation for the door 26, under the condition where the engaging protrusion 46 is engaged with the engaging recess 50.
