A system for providing shopping information is provided to install an RFID transmitting module in a predetermined position of each shelf in a shop and an RFID receiving module in a cart, thereby providing location information of a desired product for a customer. A system for providing shopping information comprises the following steps. A RFID reader of a wireless transmitting/receiving module receives location information data outputted from each a first RFID transmitter(322a,322b; 324a,324b; ...; 338a,338b; 340a,340b) and advertisement information data outputted from each second transmitter(322c; 326c; ...; 338c; 340c). The RFID reader receives location information of the first RFID transmitter when the cart moves from a shelf(310) to another shelf(312). |
