Piston for servo cylinder

The piston is for a servo cylinder (1) comprising a hollow cylindrical casing (2) in which a piston (3) can move. The piston is connected by a connecting rod (5) to a pedal device. As a seal, the piston has a groove (10) round it in the end region towards the compression chamber (4) for a groove ring (9). There are recesses (15) in the side wall (14) bounding the groove on the side towards the compression chamber. These may be in the form of borings in the side wall. The groove ring may have a V-shaped recess facing the side wall in a position corresponding to that of the borings.
