PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing tool of pouches for artificial anuses that is directly usable with universal pouches and is low-cost and reliable in operation for assisting a patient with an artificial anus in removing and discharging the odors of excrement and gas that he or she worries out of the pouch at any times. SOLUTION: This deodorizing tool, mounted on the interior wall of a pouch for an artificial anus, comprises ring-shaped support 3 bonded in place to surround the periphery of a needle hole bored in the wall face of the pouch, and an air-permeable bag 2 secured to the support 3 and storing a deodorant 21 therein. The deodorant is a zeolite type compound composed of natural zeolite and an iron compound admixed and molded, that is excellent in adsorption capability and performance. The zeolite type compound should be formed into small granules.
