PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a synthetic fiber having reduced yellow discoloration and high in mold preventability and mold prevention durability while maintaining sufficient string physical properties.SOLUTION: Provided is a synthetic fiber composed of an antifungal agent B obtained by binding an antifungal agent A with zinc or silver and a thermoplastic resin C, in which the antifungal agent A includes a piguanide based antifungal agent and one or more selected from a halogen based antifungal agent, an isothiazolin based antifungal agent and a pyridine based antifungal agent as effective components. Regarding a cylindrically knitted fabric produced by synthetic fibers, in a JIS Z 2911:2010 method, the growth of molds after 14 days is not recognized, and the single yarn diameter of the fiber is 3 μm or higher.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
